Today’s aggressive email filters make mass email deliverability very difficult, even when sending legitimate email to your leads and clients.
For that reason you either need to be an Email Service Provider (ESP) or hire one. An ESP is a company that handles the collection of names and email addresses and sends your email messages for you.
For a monthly fee, you get to use their autoresponder on their servers. And they take care of the technical details necessary to see that your legitimate emails get through to the major Internet service providers. It’s a win-win situation.
Fees for ESP services range from $10 per month to $100+ per month, depending on the additional services and features offered. And higher costs doesn’t always mean a better service.
