Online Marketing Tools – Why I Love AWeber

When people ask me what email service provider or autoresponder I recommend, I give them 2 names. In this article, I’ll tell you about my favorite, AWeber.

I started using AWeber for myself and my customers mainly because it was recommended by several top Internet marketers that I knew and followed. I figured that if they loved it and used it, then it was the right choice for me, too.

Since then, I have become a big fan of AWeber’s service.

By the time I started using AWeber in 2007, I was already familiar with two other autoresponder software: 1 Shopping Cart’s autoresponder and Autoresponse Plus. (I’ll talk about them in another article.)

Although there are similarities in all the autoresponders I’ve used, I found AWeber’s to be much more user friendly and feature rich.

The video tutorials show you exactly what to do step-by-step to use their system. And there are plenty of text tutorials as well.

But what’s really cool is all the additional training they offer to help members with their email marketing campaigns, like how to segregate your email lists for higher conversions. The training goes beyond just the fundamentals to using their system.

AWeber had awesome features when I started using it 2 years ago. But now it’s even better. They keep expanding the features and adding new ones. And I still keep paying the same low monthly fee. Gotta love them for that.

Some of my favorite features are the RSS blog broadcasting, and the new spell check feature in the plain text message area. It helps me catch misspelled words.

They have some very nice looking HTML templates for you to choose from, and you can use a WYSIWYG editor to make changes, like you do with a WordPress blog.

The email tracking is another really great feature. I can see how many of my emails were opened and how many bounced. It also shows me which links within the message were clicked and how many times they were clicked. This is very helpful for tracking and testing conversions.

The web forms are really easy to create, and I can send subscribers to 2 different webpages, depending on whether they have already opted-in or not.

If you are already using AWeber, please leave a comment and let us know what you like most about their service.
